Within the EAEPE conference 2017 that will take place in the beautiful location of Budapest, 19-21 October 2017, the Research Areas F-Environment-Economy Interactions and X-Networks organized a joint session on ‘The role of the state in the climate-finance nexus’.
Keynote speakers will be Prof. Giovanni Dosi (Sant’Anna School of Economics, Pisa) and Prof. Mariana Mazzucato (UCL, London) who will discuss what are the barriers that might prevent the state to take a clear role in the low-carbon transition (e.g., by introducing a stable green policy framework), and the solutions that could be implemented to overcome such barriers.
